I jotted my original review down on a travel sickness bag in mid flight. Unfortunately the flight then took a turn for the worse (turbulence and a weak stomach) and that review is now lost. However I couldn't help laughing at the irony, because although the book may not have been quite vomit worthy it certainly wasn't any good. The characters had the depth of your average puddle and the plot had about as many twists and turns in it as a straight line. When the author eventually did attempt a "twist " (I use the term loosely) is was very poorly executed. I found the book as a whole very dumbed down, and am vaguely embarrassed that I bother to finish reading it. But then again I was stuck on a plane with nothing better to do!
