4.5 StarsI wanted to read this book for awhile but I was also really reluctant because I knew it was going to be sad. I guess it is just human nature (or mine) to put off thing that we know are going to hurt. But I am glad I eventually read it because this book is even better then the first one. It's Not Summer Without You is a quick read but I find it amazing how much Jenny Han put into it. There is something so nostalgic about the way she writes. You can feel the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes. And the subject matter hits you right in the gut. Who can't relate to first love, loss, friendship and saying goodbye?
